The Holy Spirit, the Church, and the Nations

by T. Austin-Sparks

Recorded May 1957

"Christianity and the church can never fulfill their purpose, or reach their Divinely intended goal, on any other ground than they started, that is, upon the ground of the Holy Spirit. There are no alternatives or substitutes for the Holy Spirit - for Christianity or for the church. If the Holy Spirit is not continuing with Christianity and with the church, then Christianity and the church lose the very meaning of their existence."
